The Broken Hill Art Exchange is a non-profit organisation run entirely by volunteers. Its members come from all walks of life with a majority from the art world. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in bringing arts and communities together.
Membership of the BHAE is valid from 1 July to 30 June each year. Membership cards entitle bearers to free or reduced-cost workshops and exhibitions throughout the year. Members are also entitled to propose resolutions and vote at all General Meetings (usually held on the last Sunday of the month). Notices of events, workshops and meetings are emailed once or twice a month. The office team welcomes all members to visit during office hours to discuss possible exhibitions, workshops etc. and to contribute new ideas to the organisation.
